Rob Myers - Managing Director, Ipsos Marketing

Rob Myers is Managing Director of the Marketing specialism in the UK. He joined us from Ipsos US where he was President of Marketing. Previously, Rob held the role of Executive Vice President for Synovate with legacy Synovate Canada, with US CPG and Motor research under his purview.
Prior to Synovate, he was Global Head of Strategy and Corporate Development for Aegis Group Plc, the UK based parent company of Synovate.
Rob has held senior strategy and development roles in the media and marketing services industry for the past seven years. He has also gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in the financial services industry during his employment with American Express and Barclays Bank Plc.
Rob grew up in Canada and has previously lived in Europe for nine years. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Western University in Toronto, Canada, an MBA from INSEAD Business School in France and a Chartered Accounted (CA) designation obtained with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Canada.
He lives in London with his wife and two young children and enjoys ice hockey and golf in his free time.

Stephen Yap - Head of Market Understanding & Measurement

Stephen brings more than 16 years of cross sector experience to Ipsos Marketing. He joins from TNS Global where he was Global Account Director, having previously held the positions of Group Director in the UK and Director, Client Services & Insights for seven years with TNS in Hong Kong.
Prior to this Stephen was a founding member and Director of Interactive Audience Measurement Asia (iamasia), creating Greater China’s first internet audience measurement tool, delivering data and insight to media owners and buyers, whilst establishing iamasia as a well-known name throughout Asia Pacific advertising, digital and media communities. He has an M.A. in Communication from Washington State University and a B.A. in English Literature and Philosophy from the University of Sheffield.

Gareth Phillips - Managing Director UK & Head of Western Europe, Ipsos Healthcare

Gareth joined from Ipsos Healthcare in Asia Pacific where he was Managing Director. Previously he held the role of Acting Managing Director of Healthcare Greater China and Head of Healthcare, South Asia & Korea with Synovate. He has also held senior strategy and development roles within the Healthcare research industry and has broad experience from positions with Brand Equity and Isis Research.
Gareth grew up in the UK and has previously lived and worked in the USA for three years before spending the last 5 years in Singapore and Shanghai. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Marketing Management and is an industry expert, experienced in all aspects market research.

Paul Stamper - Head of Qualitative

Paul’s research career spans more than 20 years, covering field, quantitative and qualitative disciplines, but for the past 15 years he has been a dedicated qualitative researcher, working across a range of industry sectors, including finance, technology, media and consumer goods.
Paul joined Synovate at the start of 2011, to lead the UK qualitative team. Before joining Synovate he worked at TNS in the UK, where he established the Specialist Markets Qualitative team and in Belgium where he was deputy MD of TNS opinion and managed the Qualitative Eurobarometer for the European Commission.
Before discovering the joys of research he obtained a degree in Environmental Biology and was a (mostly ‘resting’) actor.
